Bonus Lesson: Understanding Carbs
This is a crucial lesson if you're hesitant to eating carb because the fitness world has [likely] convinced you they'll make you "fat."
Nothing could be further from the TRUTH.
Fat loss is a result of a strategic caloric deficit (as you're about to learn in this eating system). It's not the result of the elimination of certain food groups.
If you feel something is "missing" in your workouts -- and the effort "just isn't there" -- I'm willing to bet you a tomahawk steak dinner... it's your carbs.
Plus.
If you've been experiencing cramps throughout the day, in the middle of a session, or at night as you sleep. Again... it's likely you're dehydrated because you've cut carboHYDRATES.
Drinking more water isn't always the answer to cramps. It might just be your lack of carbs. People praise bananas for their potassium -- it's support against cramp. You know what else bananas are high in?
