Your Daily Statement

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: they that love it, shall eat the fruits thereof." ~ Proverbs 18, 21

We live in a created universe governed by laws.

And one of the most universal laws is the Law of Correspondence. This law is based on a simple formula which can be observed throughout the Old and New Testaments of Sacred Scripture.

"1:1 FORMULA"

The formula is, "As within, so without."

The world around you is a mirror which reflects back to you, your dominant thoughts. Your physical body is a direct print out of your thoughts and emotions. How (and the way) you talk about yourself... manifests itself in physical reality.

Essentially your outer world corresponds to your inner world (I.e., your thoughts and emotions). Take a look at the people around you. People who are overweight, weak, fragile, etc.

It's an outward representation of their inner world.

If you're not happy with what is being mirrored back to you... ask yourself...

"What is it in me?"

Everything you see in your outer world is coming from YOU. We are our own worst enemy. John Eldredge calls this "the traitor within."

It's your shadow.

The dark side of you whom always uses your past failures against you.

Matthew's gospel calls out "the traitor inside."

"And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but not the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can kill both the soul and body in Gehenna." ~ Matthew 10, 28

This is you and I. This is who Christ came to save us from.

ourselves!

God will never kill us or condemn our souls. Satan cannot kill us nor has power over our soul. We are the only ones with the power to kill both the body and the soul.

And we do this slowly with our words, thoughts, and emotions.

Don't talk about things you don't want.

Talk and think about daily... the things you do want. And that's what this exercise is about. Giving yourself a "new wound" by telling yourself a new story.

(I'll be getting more into the "wound" later in this course.)

In the materials section I've put together two worksheets for you. The first one is a "done-for-you" daily statement of affirmations. The second is a framework to create your own daily declaration statement.

I recommend the latter.
